Yes, making meat causes damage to the environment. Now go research just what it takes to get veggies to your plate and get back to me. It takes a lot of oil and gas to get that salad to you. Unless you’re growing your vegetables yourself, you are contributing to the environmental impact even if you’re just eating “veggies.” All that food requires a supreme effort in the form of resources to get to your plate. No one ever makes that point.
