Warning. This article may not be for everyone. Reader discretion is advised.

It’s hard to not be upset about the current conflict in the Middle East. It’s a war that’s been going on since I was born. It was going on when my father was a child. In many ways, it’s been going on forever. Endless war.

Humanities greatest accomplishment.

The images I’ve seen and the horrors out of the Mideast will never be forgotten for as long as I live. The Romans, Napoleon, the Civil War, World Wars, Mideast wars, and soon the final nuclear war.

We are incapable of learning from our past. Slaves to death. Feeding like succulent pigs.

What Will Become of Us?

Living. That’s a word that I don’t know will have any meaning soon. We stand on the abyss of a dark pit that shows no sign of closing. We are drunk in our own bloodlust, our own stupidity, and our own egos. Us, vs, them. It’s not just in the Middle East. It’s everywhere now. Riots, hate, accusations, screaming like small children without ice cream.

Barbarism
