I can’t even put into words my feelings on the Netflix movie “Cuties.” The producer of this movie must be fucking proud of the shit they have created. The people that tried to defend this film make me sick to my stomach. I can in no way, shape, or form except this movie. The reason why I’m not accepting it is that it is not a “coming-of-age” movie. It is a twisted and warped way to sexualize young girls and to make it seem acceptable in our society.

Cuties and Child Abuse

Have any of you ever experienced child abuse or known of child abuse? I have. You see, when I was in grade 6, I had this excellent teacher. He was our band teacher and an excellent musician. Not only that, but he would read us literature and books during the day. I got into reading because of my teacher. He used to read books such as The Count of Monte Cristo to us. I found books like this to be fascinating, and I would run to the bookstore to discover all the classics. I read like mad as a kid. I loved it. My teacher made reading fun.

I also went to my first concert with this teacher. It was Iron Maiden and Twisted Sister. This was in the early 80s when metal was quite popular. I had a blast at that concert with my teacher and the other students. Here I was rocking out with this cool teacher! I wanted to be like him. I wanted to teach music!

Several years later, I learned that my old teacher had been arrested. The reason for his arrest is that he’d been sexually abusing his students. This shattered my world. I drank heavily. He had been doing this for years. In fact, he was doing it while I was a student there. I could have been one of his victims. He was a predator and would have loved a movie like “Cuties.”

You see, movies such as “Cuties.” give the sick and warped individuals in our society a free pass because they can watch this type of movie anytime they want. Are we going to create more of this shit in the future? I think we are. I think we are going to go beyond a movie such as this, and we’re going to make this sort of material…
