The govt can also just switch off the computers. They also have things called tanks, perhaps you have heard of them? I have a bit of Bitcoin, but the govt says what you do. You will sit down, shut up, and use whatever system they design.

If they decide to erase Bitcoin, it's gone. They will slap down their own new currency and say, use this or go to jail. You pay your taxes in whatever currency they say. Don't pay, go to jail.

They won't allow "digital dollars" to threaten their monopoly on the monetary system.
