It's more a problem with the environment, bad policing, and yes, racism. Blacks tend to live in horrid places, so there is more crime. Cops are called more often to poor neighborhoods because of said crime where blacks live.
Whites live in better neighborhoods where there is less crime and are pulled over less often. Yes, they may commit crime and not be pulled over by racist cops. There are still a lot of whites as well as others that get shot by cops.
By changing policing and MORE importantly, improving the lives of impoverished Black people as well as everyone else impoverished, there would be real change. Everyone would have better neighborhoods and cops have no reason to got here as crime would be far lower. Until there is agreement on making these types of real changes things don't go anywhere. In fact, they will get a lot worse.
