In Canada we need a firearms safety course. My brother in law teaches one of the courses. He has to routinely fail people because they are idiots. He once took someone hunting with him and couldn't continue the hunt because the moron decided to get high while carrying a high powered rifle. Common sense. In the USA? Not so much.
