Halloween is Here, but I Hate Horror Movies
I enjoy Halloween but I have a problem with horror movies and the horror genre in general. This is something I don’t enjoy. Ever since I was a young kid, I never enjoyed the horror genre. My friends and I would get together and they would binge watch horror movies. I would stay in the other room, listen to music, or do something else with my time.
Oh, I have seen the main ones. I’ve seen the Freddy’s, Jason’s, Michaels, and all the other standard horror movies. I just don’t understand the appeal of seeing people being ripped to pieces on the screen. I don’t even find them scary, I find them quite lame. You may have different opinions on these movies, but I absolutely can’t stand them.
The Super-Duper Killing Machine
A lot of horror movies have a super-duper killing machine. This is someone or something that I absolutely can’t be stopped no matter what you do. Can’t you hire a SWAT team or a sniper or something and blow this thing away? It’s kind of lame to watch the people in this movie try and try again to kill the baddie and fail utterly in the process. I don’t know who came up with this concept in a horror movie, but I find it pretty damn boring.
You know that no matter what happens, at the end of the movie this thing is going to survive and you’re going to get yet…
