Eviscerating history doesn't change the fact that it happened. Should we tear down everything about history? How about we tear down the ancient Greek monuments? In case you're wondering, they were pretty brutal back then. How about the ancient Roman coliseum? They put people to death there. Most of the world's history up until modern times is pretty brutal. We should learn from these mistakes. We cannot change the past, only move forward. I'd rather learn from history, no matter how brutal and ugly it was.
