A recession doesn't impact someone with a stock portfolio or real state investments that much. It impacts people that are struggling the most. This isn't a normal economic downturn. Homes still cost near and over $1 million in many cities. Regular people simply can't afford that. If you dd in transportation and other costs, plus high inflation, it's a nightmare for a LOT of people. It's not doom BS, it's fact. I can afford a $10 loaf of bread or higher heat. Many simply can't!
